Rachel & Shawn’s wedding
A few details from Rachel and Shawn’s July wedding… I will post photos of the invitation soon.

I made a jpeg of their monogram so they could have it projected on the screens inside the church. A nice personal touch.
The bride found this very cute alternative to a guest book. A keepsake poster that all of the guests signed. I added their names, date and printed the poster for them.
For the table number cards I used the same papers that I used in the wedding invitation;
tiffany blue, a rich chocolate brown and an ivory metallic.
The seating chart was displayed outside the reception room for guests to easily find their table.
Cupcakes AND cake! Love it!
A cute little sign made out of actual scrabble pieces! I also made a “bride” and a “groom” sign too. Thanks so much to Ryan Collier for the great photographs!
The show last weekend was at Weber’s Inn in Ann Arbor, hosted by Whimsical Occasions. What a great venue, very modern! I had 2 tables at the front of the room (lucky me!) and had some great help for the afternoon, my sister-in-law, Whittney (thanks Whitt).
NEW This Season!! Wedding reception decals add a customized look to your dance floor! Any design, size or color. Your names, a photo, or your monogram. What a fun addition!
One of the theme tables at the show-navy blue, white and lime green. I provided the matching invitation, table number card, menu card, and escort cards.
I loved the really simple centerpieces – the lime green spider mums matched the napkins and the green metallic paper perfectly.
The timeline at the bottom of the menu card is becoming a big hit. It is nice to tell your guests what is happening and when. No one want to miss the first dance or the cake cutting!
Various shades of pink themed table. I thought the hot pink design and metallic paper would make a bold statement with the soft pink table linens.
Spring was the theme for this table-orange, yellow and light green.
A little sample of envelope printing options; matching your invitation font and color. A nice option if you are not going to hire a calligrapher. It also includes the return address on the back flap.

I had a wonderful time working with Noelle and Guy. We first met to start talking about invitations in August! It was great having lots of time to work together (email, meet ect.)
The rsvp card with it’s envelope, the reception card, and the direction card were all held together on the side of the invitation by a ribbon. A matching ribbon knot was used at the top of the invitation for added visual interest.
All of the components were layered to allow for easy accessibility of the information.
I also designed double sided table number cards that coordinated with the wedding invitation.
The bride created her own table number “stands” using wine corks, accent ribbon and a “C” wax seal for a finishing touch. I love this idea! It is classy & unique….not to mention matches the New Year’s Eve evening reception theme. Great job Noelle!
As part of the wedding favors the couple gave each guest a lottery ticket enclosed in a glassine bag sealed with a label that I designed.
A folded napkin at each place setting held the favor and the menu card.
I included a timeline of the evenings events at the bottom of the menu card. Its a nice way for guests to know what will be happening throughout the night.
The couple also asked me to design signs for the bar. They had some special wines being offered during the evening.
A seating chart is a decorative way to guide guests to their assigned tables.
When I first met with Angela she had already picked out the fabric for the table runners and she knew they wanted to contiune the dark blue color and crystal theme throughout the wedding day. I found blue paper that matched the fabric perfectly.
Since the invitation was a more traditional flat card, the rsvp card and envelope, reception card, and direction card were wrapped in a ribbon and closed with a coordinating label to keep the wedding stationary elements together.
I added ten swarovski crystals to the invitation to add an extra element of fun and contiune the crystal theme.
Whittney and James chose a invitation design that had a pocket to hold the rsvp card, rsvp envelope, reception and direction card. I think this is a great idea… having all of the invitation elements in one spot.
The green swarovski crystals added an extra unique element to the invite.
Instead of using table numbers Whittney and James decided to name each table a local landmark in the Traverse City area.
The seating chart
Since the wedding was in late August and the ceremony was scheduled to be outside Whittney and James decided to have fans for the programs to help the guests cool off a bit.
The bachelorette party started with wine tasting at a local winery.
An animal print theme bachelorette party. I thought fabric would be great to create a fun 3-D invite. Fabric is a bit tricky to adhere to paper, I discovered!
I love the matching plates and other special touches the hosts put together to continue the theme.

Another shower detail…I had custom place mats made for both grandma’s, mommy, daddy, and a special bib made for the baby on the way.
A stack of the fan programs-perfect for a outdoor wedding in late August
